Winter – Fall 2025
McDowell Road to Chaparral Road
The west Pima Road Multi-use Path will be temporarily closed from McDowell Road to Chaparral Road from Thursday, March 13 to September 2025 due to ongoing construction.
Bicyclists and pedestrians should detour to Granite Reef Road, 86th Street and 87th Street for north- and southbound travel (click here to see the detour route). Plan ahead and allow extra time for these detours.
Winter 2025 – Spring 2026
Via de Ventura to Loop 101 freeway
Improved landscaping features, including new irrigation and storm drains.
Fall 2024 – Winter 2026
McDowell Road to Via Linda
Roadway widening includes traffic flow improvements such as new turn lanes, medians, and improved multimodal features.
Fall 2024 – Winter 2026
McKellips Road to Thomas Road
Removing previous infrastructure to install a new storm drain pipe, channel lining, retaining walls, and catch basins.
